This WZSS MABR membrane module, also described as an EHBR membrane stack, combines bubble-free aeration with an attached biofilm process for wastewater treatment. Low-pressure air flows inside hydrophobic modified PVDF hollow fibers, while oxygen passes through the membrane wall into the surrounding wastewater.
The module operates submerged and is offered in a curtain or hanging configuration that can be installed in treatment tanks. The biofilm forms naturally on the outside of the fibers.
